(Jefferson City, Missouri) September 28, 2020—GRS Consulting announced last week that the MoDOT and Patrol Employees’ Retirement System’s (MPERS) funded status for Fiscal Year 2020 is 60.6%, an increase of almost 1% from Fiscal Year 2019. The funded status of a public pension plan is an indicator of overall system health. Due to the Board’s aggressive funding policies, MPERS’ funded status has increased steadily from 42.2% in 2010.
